OneNotary partners with Stripe to process payments for successfully completed Remote Online Notarizations.

Although, payment details are entered prior the notary session, you will NOT be charged unless the notarization is completed.  You and the notary must meet face-to-face, sign the document(s), the notary must perform a notarial act and the notary must click to complete the session.  Only then, will your payment card be charged.  Stripe may place an "pre-authorization amount" or place a "hold" on your card.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Enter your credit card as you prepare to meet with the notary.  OneNotary accepts all major credit / debit cards, (Visa, American Express, MasterCard & Discover).
  2. During your session with the notary, the platform will calculate the exact cost of the notarization and display the total, directly under you and the notary's video.

Example pricing for one (1) signer and two (2) stamps:
Your first stamp will be charged at a rate of $25, the second stamp (or any additional stamp thereafter), will be charged at a rate of $6.

In this example of one (1) primary signer requesting two (2) stamps, the final cost of the notarization would be $31.

  3. After the notary closes the session, OneNotary then charges your payment method for the completed Remote Online Notarization.
