OneNotary is getting ready to offer traditional mobile notary assignments for notaries with approved profiles. These assignments are for General Notary Work (not real estate transactions) and are offered at a flat rate of compensation.
Currently, you have the opportunity to register your profile and undergo verification. Our dedicated onboarding team will conduct a background check and confirm the approval of your profile. Once we have officially launched in your area, we will reach out to you.
How it works
- When there is an assignment within proximity of the notary's Zip-code, the notary will see a request on the platform and will get a text message with a link to the assignment details page. Notaries need to make sure that the Zip-codes they serve are included in their notary profile.
- The notary presses the "Take the Assignment" button to accept it. When a notary takes an assignment, it will no longer be visible to other notaries.
- The notary is expected to confirm the visit with the signer and complete traditional mobile notary assignments by notarizing the documents on paper and filling in the Notary Journal. The notary's fees will depend on the number of documents involved.
- In order to receive payment, the notary is required to confirm the notarization on the OneNotary platform. After completing the notarization, the notary can view the details in the electronic Notary Journal. Payments are made biweekly to the notary's Stripe account.
