OneNotary platform allows two types of identity verification: knowledge base authentication and biometric verification. To utilize biometric verification, simply have:

  1. A smartphone with a frontal camera 
  2. Two valid photo ID documents (e.g., passport and driver's license). 


How it Works

  1. OneNotary will notify you if you are eligible for identity verification

  2. Follow the application prompts to take a picture of your first photo ID
  3. In the next step, follow the prompts to take a selfie. Your selfie will be matched with the picture on the Photo ID taken in the previous step



  4. For security reasons, you'll need to take a picture of your second ID. It must be different from the ID you've taken in the 2nd step


Typical Errors

  • Technical problems (disabled camera, slow internet)

  • Insufficient photo quality (due to low light, shadows, and dirty lens)

  • Damaged Photo ID (chipped, with cracks, covered with tape)
