At registration, every notary is required to fill out their notary profile. This profile contains all the necessary information about the notary and is legally required for a legally binding remote notarization. 


Registration steps

  1. Create a notary profile at https://app.onenotary.us/notary/signup
  2. Confirm your email
  3. Fill out your notary profile
  4. Proceed as a Mobile Notary
  5. Fill out your RON information (optional)
  6. Complete 2-step identity verification
  7. Submit your profile for review 


After your notary profile is filled out and submitted for review, it may take up two to weeks to get approved. If any clarification or additional information is needed, we will contact you via email.


Updates

  • Whenever you renew your notary commission, the information must be updated in your OneNotary profile. Please check "Notary Commission Renewal" for more details.

  • If your digital certificate gets revoked, you will be informed in the application. You can not seal documents online without a valid Digital Certificate.
